The Giants finally caught some breaks with the instant replay officials and on Ahmad Bradshaw's near fumble, which would have killed us. We also received the neutral zone infraction call on what I thought was a false start by Kareem McKenzie on a key late drive. Call it payback for that Delaine Walker simulated snap bullshit back in Week 10.
Four of San Fran's 15 first downs came on penalties. Twenty-two punts in this game? That's a lot of punts. Some of these stats surprised me.

Time of Possession. Disparity in plays run. Take away the 2 big Vernon Davis TDs and we had them wrangled up pretty good. They averaged over 5 yards per rush, but never really ran all over us. I was also surprised to see Bradshaw end up with more yards from the line of scrimmage than Gore (126-119).
Funny how Bradshaw finally started getting hard rushing yards down in their end on that last possession. He had 18 yards on 3 carries down there, setting up the game winner. Huge.
One more thing. I did NOT see how bad that snap was on the game winning field goal. Shades of Trey Junkin! But we prevailed.
