JPP's Back Spasms: Metaphore for America?

(Photo taken at Met Life stadium.)
Is it all downhill from here?  The media respects the Giants all of a sudden allowing them to become complacent while they egg the Jets to perform.  The Gmen can under perform just as much as Jets...maybe more.  The Giants do not need the respect of the media.  How do we know the Giants are quietly going about their business?  Where is Bill O' Reilly when you need him?

"Are you going to tell me that a 9 - 7 team is going to the playoffs? Or the Super Bowl again?  Folks, it’s not going to happen.  We called every trainer on the Giants staff and not one would come on The Factor," O' Reilly might say.

The Giants also did an about face regarding reality TV as fans can tune into Giants practice each day at 7:30 PM on MSG. That is wrong.  It is a distraction from practice. Teams playing the Giants will have more film to study.  What message does this send to our youth? "Kids, all you have to do is come up 3rd in your conference power rankings and you will get your own television show?"  That's not how real life works.

Earlier today Ralph Vacciano of The Daily News Tweeted that the Rocky IV Soundtrack was, "blaring from speakers in the weight room."  That is disgraceful!  How about something from Hans Zimmer?  Or, even "Enterprising Young Men," by Michael Gianccino?  Right in the title is a reference to hard work and Capitalism.  Also, rookies like Reuben Randle or David Wilson will be able to identify because it has "young men" in the title. Rocky IV is bad 80s music and the selection smacks of resting on one's laurels.

Finally, the Star Ledger reported JPP is not playing Friday due to back spasms.  Really?!  Maybe if Jay spent less time dropping people in tubs and more time doing drills or watching film he would not have this problem.  There is no legitimate reason why trainers can't toss Amukamara in a tub.  (The guy was a First Round draft pick.)

The shame of it all is that the off season seemed to be going well.
